The simevo process app is a free, open source mobile app to access process simulations hosted in the cloud using the simevo process technology.

The simevo process app is free and open source !
The simevo process app simulates continuous industrial processes by accessing simulation services hosted in the cloud and implemented with the simevo process technology.
The communication between the app and the process simulation service is based on an open RESTful API on http. For more details on this API, see the detailed documentation on the developer website.
works on a wide ranges of mobile devices (supported platforms are iOS 6.0 and later, Android 4.4.2 and later, Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows Store app (x86, x64, arm); target devices are smartphones and tablets with display sizes from 3.5” to 10”)
offers a subset of the functionalities of the LIBPF Desktop User Interface
enables modeling of industrial continuous processes represented as cases; more precisely you can:
configure one of the available model types and create a new case, that will be stored in the cloud
calculate, updating the case in the cloud
look at results, easily navigating any complex, hierarchically structured model
convert units of measurement for inputs and results
allows sharing links to the cases stored in the cloud via any messaging service (SMS, email, microblogging, chat, social network) to coworkers or even customers and suppliers if desired
supports offline operation as much as possible to handle situations (while travelling, while on the production plant) when connectivity is intermittent or non-existent.
The model types that can be used to instantiate cases are dependent on the active service the app is connected to.
The app can connect to different services, and it refreshes the list of services at each start; the publicly available simulation services are demos that provide a number of sample model types.
Using the the simevo process technology it is possible to set up new, custom services that provide your own model types. In this way the process simulations that you already use at your desk will be accessible on any mobile device.
